Lainie's having some troubles verbalizing her colors, which means we don't know if she doesn't know them or if she can't say them or if she's just pulling the wrong word forward. Thus, a singing lesson on colors. Hopefully, this will help my musical-learning princess strengthen the pathways in her brain, so that eventually "red" will always come out her mouth, automatically, when she sees red.

I really want to see this but I can't get it to run. Can you e-mail it (or a link) to me? Ro cannot verbalize/identify his colors either and I don't know why. It may be something that comes with time, but I would love to try something like this, and also just see what you did in case it would help us with other parts of his language development!
Hi, Tara. I emailed it to you; let me know if it doesn't work! I feel your frustration. Something else they are trying at speech is a word poster, so that when she can't speak it, maybe she can point to the color she means. At least, maybe that way we can see if she knows them, even if she can't say them. Ah, the challenges abound!
